What locations do you service?
Whilst we are Auckland based, we service the upper north island and Queenstown regions, We would provide indicative travel costs upon booking.
How much do your services cost?
Pricing varies depending on the type of support and services you are after. Following an intial meeting or email exchange, we would provide indicative costs or develop a bespoke package with pricing for your consideration. All pricing excludes GST.
As our planner, do you take a cut when making vendor bookings on our behalf?
No, as wedding and event planners, our role is to introduce and connect you with vendors based on their alignment with your vision and budget. Once you are happy with your selected vendors, we facilitate the booking process and forward their invoices and contracts onto you for direct payment and signing.
Can we see examples of your work?
Yes - please get in touch and we would be happy to provide you with examples of weddings and events we have been involved in. Please also refer to our Love Notes written by previous WL couples.
What are your office hours?
Due to the nature of our work, office hours and work days vary. Peak season, we are in office Tues - Sat. Slow season, we are in office Mon - Fri with selected evenings & Saturday's available for site visits & planning sessions. Unless we are on site at a wedding, we are closed on Sunday's.
What is the timeline for making a booking and getting things organised?
Our books open for Planning & Styling services within 18 months of your event date. Books open for Celebrant & Coordination services within 12 months of your date. Once booked, we would meet to get the ball rolling 3 months out for celebrant services, 12 months out for planning services, and 12 weeks out for day-of-coordination services.
Do you have preferred vendors you like to work with?
We are fortunate to work alongside some of the best vendors in NZ. We love recommending these people as we know they do a wonderful job. We are however all about finding the right vendors that will deliver on each clients vision and budget. Therefore our vendor suggestions often vary for each event, and it is over to you to determine whether or not you would like to go with them.
Do you do weekday weddings?
Definitely... weekday weddings are becoming a lot more popular and allow you and your guests to enjoy a long weekend.
Can we incorporate other traditions into our wedding?
Yes, all of our weddings and ceremonies are designed uniquely for each WL couple. When we meet, we will discuss what is important to you and how we can incorporate traditions, cultural elements and/or rituals in a way that is meaningful.
Will you hold a date for us?
Unfortunately we don't offer pencil holds. Date's are confirmed once we receive a signed contract and booking deposit.
